New Website Invigorates Project Onramp

Monderer Design is excited to announce the launch of a newly designed and developed website for Project Onramp. Project Onramp matches undergraduates from low-income backgrounds with access to paid summer internships in the life sciences. The non-profit (currently in 5 cities across the U.S.) is focused on addressing the needs of low-income students, who are often also first-generation or historically marginalized, by eliminating barriers to access and creating an “onramp” into companies committed to hiring from within this student population. Sparrow Bioacoustics is the first company to make it possible to use smartphones as medical grade stethoscopes. selected to elevate their logo and website to the next level as they achieved FDA approval for the Stethophone(tm) cardiac SaMD application. employs a clean, elegant icon with a subtle gradient to give Sparrow the professional, trustworthy image it deserves.

The website builds on this illustrative feel with interactive line art highlighting Sparrow’s compelling messaging. It also utilizes interactive accents like parallax scrolling and mouse-over motion to engage the viewer as they scroll through. We can’t wait to see Sparrow’s innovative technology reach patients who need it most!

Project Onramp: Its mission is growing

Monderer Design is proud to continue our support for Project Onramp and their national locations. Project Onramp began in 2019 in Massachusetts, helping students from the state’s underserved communities start their careers in life sciences with paid internships. Now, they have expanded to multiple cities and metro areas, including San Francisco and the Bay Area, for which we launched a new website.

Project Onramp’s expansion required location-specific lockups that would help differentiate future materials. The lockups not only accommodate existing locations, including Boston, Philadelphia, San Diego, New York, and the SF Bay Area, but are infinitely extendable to wherever Project Onramp program takes their mission. These logos include a tagline associating every location with their parent organization, Life Science Cares.

The new website for the SFBay Area is consistent with the design and functionality of the original Massachusetts site. As Project Onramp program continues to grow, their user-friendly location websites will be able to grow with them.
