Comet Therapeutics Website
We help biotech companies treat life-threatening diseases. Our work for Comet Therapeutics began with a new corporate identity and initial branding components, and continued with the design and development of an expanded website.
Comet Therapeutics’ innovative CoEnzyme A platform can change the fate of cells by using metabolic switches to change the course of numerous diseases. Our website design for Comet uses a simple geometric motif—the hexagon—that reflects the structure of one of the key molecules in its core technology. We then created a bright and vibrant animation for the homepage, used angled page dividers that mirror the shape of the hexagon, and created looping hexagon animations using SVGs to enrich the web experience.
Unlike many other biotech websites, geometry and bold, colorful typography took center stage over supporting scientific imagery. A dark background made the vibrant palette pop. Icons and other images, quotes, and website animations, reward the user throughout.
Our identity for Comet is similarly vibrant and geometric. The graphic mark, drawing from their name, gives the logo motion and energy. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 crisis, the site was put on hold, but we look forward to helping Comet in the future.
